Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the UPPSC APS Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, UPPSC APS used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

• The candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto
• Must have a minimum speed of eighty words per minute and twenty-five words per minute in Hindi shorthand and Hindi typewriting respectively.
• Must possess the knowledge of Computer in accordance with- (a) the course prescribed for the certificate course in computing (CCC) conducted by DOEACC Society. Or (b) the course conducted by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or a course recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Age Limit

• Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2013, i.e they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July 1973 and not later than July 1, 1992.

Application Fees

• Unreserved (General) – Exam fee Rs. 100/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 125/-.
• Other Backward Class – Exam fee Rs. 100/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 125/-.
• Scheduled Caste – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-.
• Scheduled Tribe – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-.
• Handicapped – Exam fee NIL+ On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 25/-.
• Dependents of the Freedom Fighters – According to the original category mentioned.
• Ex-Serviceman – According to the original category mentioned.
• Women – According to the original category mentioned.

Selection Process

• The officials shall hold Written Examination to select the candidates for the post of Additional Private Secretary (APS).

Salary 

• Selected Candidates for the post of Additional Private Secretary in UPPSC will get paid for Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 per month.
