Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Kerala SET Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, Kerala SET used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

• Those who have acquired a Master’s Degree in the subjects concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed
• For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, those having MSc.Ed Degree in the subjects concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT are eligible to apply
• For the subjects of Anthropology, Commerce, Gandhian Studies, Geology, Home Science, Journalism, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, and Statistics candidates need not acquire B.Ed. Degree for applying for the State Eligibility Test
• Those who have acquired II class Master’s Degree in Communicative English with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and BEd. are eligible to appear for SET in English

Age Limit

• No age limit is prescribed for candidates appearing for the SET.

Application Fee

• The fee shall be Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST/ Differently abled candidates.
• Processing charges and GST are to be paid by the candidate as applicable.

How to Register for Kerala State Eligibility Test 2022?

• Visit the official website @ lbscentre.kerala.gov.in
• Go to the Quick Links section and click on the SET July 2022
• Click on the Online Registration Link
• Proceed with the Mobile Number Registration
• Then fill in the online application form
• Upload the photo and proceed with the payment of the online application fee
• Finally, submit the application and take a printout of it for later references

Kerala SET Exam Pattern 2022

• Mode of Exam: This examination will be conducted through pen and paper mode.
• Number of Papers: The Total Number of Paper in this exam is 2.
• Duration of the test: The duration of the Test shall be 120 minutes.
  for each paper
• Types of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Several questions: The 120 questions will be provided in Paper I (Containing 60 questions for Each Part i.e Part A Part B). Also, Paper-II will be Provided 120 questions this 80 questions will be conducted for Mathematics and Statics.
• Total Marks: The Total Marks that will be provided in Paper-I is 120. Also, Paper-II will be 160 Marks.
• Negative Marking: No negative marking.
• Marking Scheme: For each correct response, the candidates will be awarded 1 mark in both the Papers except for Mathematics and Statistics for which each correct response will be awarded 1.5 marks.
• Incorrect Answer: Marking more than one response against a question shall be deemed as an incorrect answer.
