About HPSC HCS Prelims Exam 2021:
- The Haryana Civil Services Preliminary Examination was conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission on September 12, 2021, in pen-paper mode.
- The result of the exam was declared on September 25, 2021 and as per the result data, a total of 2,000 candidates were eligible to sit for the HCS Mains exam.
- Due to unlisted reasons, HPSC has decided to cancel the said examination.
- The notification issued by the Commission regarding the cancellation of hcs preliminary examination reads, “The commission has decided to cancel hcs (executive br) and other allied service preliminary examination held on 12th September, 2021.
- The exam for the above posts will now be conducted on July 10, 2022. “
- The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 156 vacant posts.
- No more fresh applications will be invited for the exam.
Eligibility Criteria

- The exam paper will comprise 100 questions.
- One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
