Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the DVET Maharashtra Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, DVET Maharashtra used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidate should possess a Diploma at least in Second Class (or)
- Have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination with Mathematics and Science or its equivalent examination, and possess either –
- National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade of the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades or its equivalent; (or)
- National Trade Certificate in appropriate trade of the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades or its equivalent (or)
- Trade Certificate in respective trade awarded by the State Council for Training in Vocational Trades of the Maharashtrastra (or)
- Persons from Defence Service having basic qualifications and possessing Trade Certificate and two years experience in the respective trade
Experience:
- Have practical experience in appropriate trade for a period of not less than four years including the minimum period prescribed for training by the persons possessing the qualifications
- Two years of practical experience in appropriate trade after acquiring the qualifications in the respective trade.
Age Limit
- As per the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training Recruitment Notification, the candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum of 38 years , as on 01-08-2022.
Application Fee
Common Examination Fee:
- The common examination fee will be Rs.825/- for candidates applying from the open category.
- The common examination fee for backward class candidates will be Rs.750/-.
- However, the recruitment fee will not be applicable for ex-servicemen.
Professional Test Fee: Candidates who qualify for the professional tests by securing 45% marks or more in Common Examination apply for the same profession (eg Craft Instructor Fitter) in more than one regional division If done,
- A Professional Test Fee will be Rs. 825/- for open category candidates and
- A Professional Test Fee for backward class candidates will be Rs. 750/- will be required to be paid.
Selection Process
- Desired candidates have to appear for the Common Examination as well as Professional Test Examination in order to get selected for the posts of Craft Instructor.
Salary
- Selected candidates will be getting a pay scale S-14: 38600-122800 as per the 7th Pay Commission plus admissible allowances as per rules.
