Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the SGPGIMS Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, SGPGIMS used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

• A medical qualification is included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule of the said Act shall also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of the section 13 of the said Act and National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
• Candidate must be registered in a State Medical Register and National Medical Register except in the case of teachers with non-medical qualifications
• A postgraduate qualification recognized by the Board of Governors in supersession of National Medical Commission New Delhi or equivalent thereto (i.e. if a person with postgraduate medical qualifications awarded in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand desires to take up a teaching appointment, his/ her qualification can be considered as equivalent qualification with MD/ MS/ DM/ MCh as the case may be, for the post of Assistant Professor in respective departments in medical colleges in India) is required. Diplomate National Board (DNB) shall be treated as equivalent to MD, MS/ DM, and MCh qualifications of the respective broad/ super specialties as per NMC Notification and issued from time to time.
• A total of 03 years of teaching and/ or research experience at a recognized teaching institution, after the prescribed MD/ PhD degree or 1 year of teaching and/or research experience, respectively, after obtaining the degree of DM /M.Ch (02 year duration) in the concerned specialty; or Nil (0) years of teaching and/ or research experience after obtaining the degree DM/ M.Ch (03 Years duration) in the respective specialty.

Age Limit

• The applicant’s age should not cross 50 years as on the last date of submitting the application i.e. 13the August 2022. Age relaxation is applicable

Application Fee

• The candidate must pay Rs 1000/-  for the application. For candidates applying from outside India, a fee of US Dollars 100 must be paid through the demand draft.

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will be called for the Personal Interview.

Salary

• The selected candidate will be getting a pay scale of Level-12 Pay Matrix Rs.101500/- to Rs. 167400/-
