Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the NEET 2023 Notification vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, NEET 2023 Notification used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Nationality

  • Candidates of Indian nationality, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET 2023.

Educational Qualifications

  • The applicant should be given physics, chemistry, biology/biology as compulsory subjects. Must have passed class 12th examination with Biotechnology and English.
  • The candidates appearing are also eligible.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ It is mandatory to pass individually in Biotechnology and English and in the qualifying examination physics, chemistry and biology/biology.
  • Have scored at least 50% marks in biotechnology.
  • SC/ST Scheduled Tribe/ The OBC candidates are required to score 40% marks. Whereas, the criteria for the candidates of THE PWD category is 45%.

Age Limit

  • The applicants should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should have completed the age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
  • The maximum age limit is 25 years.
  • Sc/ST/PWD candidates are granted relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
  • Last year, the age limit was removed through an official notification.
  • We cannot guarantee whether the upper age limit exists this year.
  • It will be notified after the release of NEET 2023 Information Prospectus.

Application Fee

  • The general category candidates will have to pay Rs.1600/-.
  • Candidates of General-EWS/OBC-NCL will have to pay Rs.1500/-.
  • The sc/st/pwd/transgender category candidates will have to pay Rs 900/-.
  • For those candidates who are applying from outside India, the application fee is Rs.8500/-.

NEET 2023 Application Form

  • Candidates who wish to apply for the exam will have to fill the application form from the first week of December 2022.
  • Once the application is opened, you have to fill the application form with the correct details such as name, address, etc.
  • After filling the form, click on Next and upload the scanned copy of the required documents.
  • Candidates will have to submit the application form before the last week of December 2023, as no application form will be accepted after that date.
  • Debit / Debit Pay the application fee using credit card, UPI, net banking etc.
  • Download, save and print a copy of the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.

NEET 2023 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
  • Number of Questions: There will be 200 questions, out of which 180 questions are mandatory. In Section B, candidates will be given options.
  • Types of Questions: The question will include multiple choice questions (MCQs).
  • Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours 20 minutes.
  • Medium: NEET question paper 2023 will be in these languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Punjabi.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
