PSACS Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility, Salary, Application Form – Punjab State AIDS Control Society has released an online notification for recruitment to the 49  Vacancies of Medical Officer, Medical Lab Technician, Pharmacist, Counselor, Staff Nurse, Data Manager, District Assistant M&E Posts. Interested candidates who completed all eligibility criteria can apply in PSACS Job Notification before the last date

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the PSACS Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, PSACS used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

Medical Officer
  • Should be at least MBBS from the recognized Medical College
Medical Lab Technician (3 posts in Blood Bank, 9 posts in ICTC) (For ICTC)

  • 1st Preference : Degree (B.Sc.) in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with One year of experience in a relevant field.
  • 2nd Preference : Three Years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with One year of experience in a relevant field.

(For Blood Bank)

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Transfusion Medicine or Blood Bank Technology after 10+2 with one year experience in the testing of blood and/ or its components in a licensed blood center.
  • Degree in Medical Laboratory (MLT) or Blood Bank Technology with six months’ experience in the testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed blood center.
  • B.Sc. in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine with six months’ experience in the testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed blood center.
  • M.Sc. in Transfusion Medicine with six month’s experience in the testing of blood and/ or its components in a licensed blood center
Pharmacist
  • 1st Preference : Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institute/ University
  • 2nd Preference : Diploma in Pharmacy with 3 years of experience in health care Institutions.
Counselor 1st Preference:

  •  Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development/ Nursing (from a recognized University or Institute) with a minimum 1 year of experience after PG degree/ diploma.
  • 2nd Preference : Graduate Degree in Psychology/Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development/ Nursing (from a recognized University or Institute) with a minimum 1-year experience after graduation. Qualified and competent PLHIV (People living with HIV/AIDS), if available (as per the above-mentioned qualification & experience), should be given preference while appointing counselors)
Staff Nurse
  • 1st Preference – Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized Punjab  -State Institute with relevant one year experience and should be registered with Nursing Council, Punjab)
  • 2nd Preference – Should have a minimum qualification of GNM (from a recognized Punjab State Institute with relevant one year experience and should be registered with Nursing Council, Punjab)
Data Manager
  • Should be a Graduate (preferably from Commerce/ accounts background) with Diploma in computer applications (from a recognized institute or University) or an ‘O’ level course from DOEACC.
District Assistant M&E, DAPCU Ludhiana
  • Graduate with computer knowledge;
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in handling data. Candidates should be proficient to read and write in English and in the local language. Preference to be given to a candidate with experience in the National AIDS Control Programme.

Age Limit

  • The maximum age limit for the post of Medical Officer is 65 years and for other posts is 60 years.

Selection Process

  • There will be computer typing (English) (30 wpm) and a computer knowledge test (50% marks) as qualifying criteria for all posts for eligible candidates except for the post of Medical Officer.

Salary

  • For the post of Medical Officer, the salary is Rs. 50,000/- per month
  • For District Assistant M&E, DAPCU Ludhiana the salary is Rs.12,700/- per month
  • For other posts, the salary is Rs.13,000/- per month.

PSACS Admit Card 2022

  • All the candidates who will qualify the written exam will be eligible to appear for the written exam.
  • The call letter for the PSACS exam will be uploaded on the PSACS website.

PSACS Answer Key 2022

  • The PSACS will release the answer key of the written exam after a few days of conducting the exam.
  • With the help of the PSACS answer key pdf you will know the probable marks that you will obtain in the written test.
  • You can also raise an objection against the PSACS answer key released by the commission in case you find an answer marked by the commission to be incorrect.

PSACS Result 2022

  • PSACS will announce the result of the written exam and the final result on its website.
  • The PSACS result pdf will have the names of the qualified candidates who will be appointed to the PSACS .
