Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the NIT Raipur Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, NIT Raipur used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

• For Engineering Disciplines: B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent and M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent and Ph.D. in relevant/ equivalent discipline with first class in the preceding degrees. BE/ B.Tech. with direct Ph.D. with first class in preceding degree will also be considered.

For Architecture Departments: The following shall be essential qualifications without insisting on credit point requirements at
Assistant Professor level:
• M.Arch or M.Plan. with one year of professional experience as Assistant Professor at
Grade II Pay Level 10;
• Candidates having B. Arch. degree at the UG level will be preferred.
• For higher cadres, the educational qualification and credit point requirement shall remain
the same as given in the table for Engineering and Sciences.

• For Non-Engineering Departments: Ph.D. degree in the relevant or equivalent discipline with first class in preceding degrees

Age Limit

• Preferably up to thirty-five (35) years for Assistant Professor and preferably below sixty (60) years for Associate Professor on the date of closure of advertisement.

Application Fee

• Each application must be accompanied by a non-refundable Processing Fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) for UR/ OBC applicants and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for SC/ ST/ EWS & PWD applicants

Selection Process

• The Officials will shortlist the candidates and then Interview will be conducted.
