Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the BIT Mesra Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, BIT Mesra used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

Assistant Professor

• First-class or equivalent in UG and PG degree level and Ph.D. degree.
• At least two research publications in reputed, peer-reviewed, and indexed journals.

Associate Professor

• First class or equivalent in UG and PG degree level and Ph.D degree in advertised discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of post-Ph.D experience of teaching and research at Assistant Professor or equivalent level in a reputed academic institution, R&D organization or industry.
• A minimum of four research publications in reputed peer reviewed and indexed journals.
• Completed at least one sponsored R&D or industrial or consultancy project.
• Supervised at least one Ph.D student.

Professor

• First-class or equivalent in UG and PG degree level and Ph.D. in the advertised discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of post-PhD experience of teaching and research in University/ National level Institutions of which at least 3 years shall be as an Associate Professor.
• Contributions in terms of publications in refereed and indexed journals with high impact.
• Supervised at least two Ph.D. students.
• Completed two sponsored R&D Projects and/or Industrial Consultancy.

Application Fee

• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PHs categories have to pay Rs.750/- as the application fee
• And other category candidates have to pay Rs.1500/- 

Selection Process

The candidates who will be applying for the BIT Mesta Faculty Job Openings 2021 will be called for the Online Interview (Through digital Platform) only after scrutiny of relevant documents.

Salary Details

• Assistant Professor – Rs.57,700/- or Rs.68,900/- or 79,800/-.
• Associate Professor – Rs.1,31,400/-.
• Professor – Rs.1,44,200/-.
