Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Professor

• A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act); and
• A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.
• For Dentistry: A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline

Associate Professor

• A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act); and
• A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.
• For Dentistry: A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline

Assistant Professor

• A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act); and
• A postgraduate qualification e.g MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.

Experience

• Professor – Three years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with a minimum of four research publications accepted/ published in the indexed journal in the concerned specialty on a cumulative basis with a minimum of two research publications during the tenure of the associate professor
• Associate Professor – Four years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college. Two research publications in indexed journals in the concerned specialty during the period of Assistant Professor.
• Assistant Professor – For the candidates possessing doctor of Medicine (MD)/ Master of Surgery (MS) from Medical Council of India recognized medical colleges . Three years Junior Resident in a recognized medical college in the concerned subject and one year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized Medical College

Age Limit

The Age Should Not exceed 67 years as of the date of reporting for the interview.

Selection Process

The Officials will select the Candidates based on the performance in the Interview.

• Associate Professor – Rs.116000/-
