Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the GTU Teaching Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, GTU Teaching used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

Professor (Contractual)
  • Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
  •  Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
  • At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/ Co-supervisor.
  • At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.
Associate Professor (Contractual)
  • Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
  •  At least a total of 6 research publications in SCI journals/ UGC / AICTE approved list of journals
  •  Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
Assistant Professor (Contractual)
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
  • Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Applications as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. Qualification

Selection Process

The selection process can be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Salary

  • For the selected candidate for Professor (Contractual) post the salary is  Rs. 37400-67000+ GP 10000/- consolidated Fix amount Rs.75, 000/- PM
  • For the selected candidate for Associate Professor (Contractual) post the salary is Rs. 37400-67000+ GP 9000/- consolidated Fix amount Rs.70, 000/- PM
  • For the selected candidate for Assistant Professor (Contractual) post the salary is Rs.15600-39100+ GP 6000/

  • All the candidates who will qualify the written exam will be eligible to appear for the written exam.
  • The call letter for the GTU Teaching exam will be uploaded on the GTU Teaching website.
  • Further, the direct link to download the GTU Teaching exam will be provided to you here below.

GTU Teaching Answer Key 2022

  • The GTU Teaching will release the answer key of the written exam after a few days of conducting the exam.
  • With the help of the GTU Teaching answer key pdf you will know the probable marks that you will obtain in the written test.
  • You can also raise an objection against the GTU Teaching answer key released by the commission in case you find an answer marked by the commission to be incorrect.

GTU Teaching Result 2022

  • GTU Teaching will announce the result of the written exam and the final result on its website.
  • The GTU Teaching result pdf will have the names of the qualified candidates who will be appointed to the GTU Teaching .
