Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the India Post Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, India Post used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driving license for light & heavy motor vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Motor mechanism. (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
  • Experience of driving in Light & Heavy motor vehicles at least for three years.
  • Pass in 10th standard from a recognised Board or institute.

Age Limit

  • Candidates applying for the India Post jobs need to be between 18 and 27 years.
  • The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be 20.09.2021, the closing date for receipt of application forms.

Selection Criteria 

  • Candidates qualifying in all papers of previous stage are eligible to appear for test in the next stage i.e. candidates qualifying in each paper of Stage -1 are eligible to appear for test in Stage – 2 and thereafter, candidates qualifying in each paper of Stage – 2 are eligible to appear for test in Stage – 3.
  • This vis-a-vis implies that if any of the candidates does not qualify any paper of a particular stage, he/ she shall not qualify for the next stage. Only such candidates qualified in all papers of each stage, viz. Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 shall be considered while preparing the final merit list.

Pay Scale

Rs.19900 – Rs.63200 in Level – 2 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances. [Rs 5200-20200 (Pay Band-1) + Grade Pay Rs.1900 under Pre-revised scale].

How To Apply For India Post Recruitment 2021?

  • Visit the official website of India Post to apply @ appost.in.
  • Click on the “Registration” link and enter details like name, mobile number, gender, date of birth, category, etc.
  • After registration, candidates will receive the OTP on their registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP. A unique registration number will be generated. Note down the registration number for future logins.
  • Pay the India Post application fee.
  • Fill the application form, upload documents like educational certificates, photo, signature, etc.
  • Select your ‘Post Preferences’. Recheck the details entered and submit the application.
  • Take the printout of the India Post Application Form.
