Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Mail Guard	10th standard pass from a recognized Board. Possesses knowledge of the local language of circle/ Division and the candidate should have studied local language up to 10th standard. Knowledge of working on a computer
Multi-Tasking Staff	For Competitive Examination – As per the Department of post, Multi-Tasking staff Recruitment Rules 2018 notified in GSR 781 dated 16th August 2018 as amended wide the department of posts recruitment Amendment Rules, 2019 notified in GSR 850 Gramin Dak Savaks with 3 years of regular engagement as GDS on the crucial date of eligibility i.e, 1st January 2022 shall be eligible. For LDCE – MTS in Level 1 of the pay matrix with 3 years of regular service in the grade.

Age Limit

• The candidates should be within 50 years of age on 1st January 2022.
• Age relaxation is applicable to the eligible candidates as per the Notification of the Government of India from time to time.

Selection Process

• The candidates who are applying for Promotion to the Postman and Mail Gaurd Post, have been selected on the basis of the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination.
• The candidates who are applying for the cader of Postman, Mail Gaurd, and Multi-Tasking Staff from GDS, will be selected on the basis of the Competitive Examination.

•  The salary for the role is based on India Post Recruitment rule.
