Educational Qualifications

Associate Professor in Medical Institutions	Essential for Medical Candidates: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline. Essential for Non-Medical Candidates: A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters’s Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline. and A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline. Experience: Four years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college. Two research publications in indexed journals.
Associate Professor in Dental Institutions	Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification with Post Graduate Qualification/ Diplomate of National Board in the subject and four years of teaching experience after postgraduation as Assistant Professor. Note: The qualification and experience should be recognized by the Dental Council of India or the Statutory Body concerned with the system of medicine as a valid teaching experience for teaching posts and a certificate thereof or any other valid proof in support thereof should be submitted and a certificate to this effect is to be submitted

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the ESIC and the Government Servants, in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time).

• For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Departmental Candidates (ESIC Employees), Women Candidates & Ex-Servicemen – No Fees

Salary
