How a Merit List for seat allotment is Prepared?
- The seat allotment list is prepared based on marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
- University is offering the admission in UG courses based on the candidates’ marks in 12th class.
- So the merit list will be prepared accordingly.
- To offer admission in sports quota, NCC, etc. the applicant’s performance in these activities is marked.
- In the case of two or more candidates have the same marks in qualifying exam their marks the main subjects then languages are checked.
- An applicant with higher marks will get a higher rank on the list.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian candidates are eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: lower age limit is 14 years as on 1st August 2021. There will be no upper age limit criteria.
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed 8th or 10th class or its equivalent from any recognized board.
- Mark Criteria: Candidates should secure 40% marks in their qualifying exam.
- Subjects: Candidates must have mathematics and science subjects in their qualifying exam.

Selection Process
- Candidates have to fill the ITI Delhi Application Form to make himself/herself for the basic eligibility for the admission to the course.
- After filling the form candidate have to visit any govt. ITI for document verififcation by carrying the original as well as the self-attested documents.
- Therefore, the merit list will be declared, candidate have to check the name in the merit list.
- Qualified candidates will be alloted seats in the counselling round as per the choices filled by the candidates,
- Alloted candidate have to freeze the seat by reporting to the college within the stipulated time by paying the fees and the document verififcation.
- Those candidates who wants to compete for the next round have to opt for the Ugradation and the previous seat can be retained by the candidate in case he/she doesn’t get allotment as per the choice.
