Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• M.Ed.
• NET/ SLET from UGC/ Ph.D. from any recognized University.

For Lecturer, Education:

• MA in Education
• B.Ed. Or
• M.Ed.
• NET/ SLET from UGC/ Ph.D. from any recognized University

For Lecturer, Health and Physical Education:

• Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.)
• NET/ SLET from UGC/ Ph.D. from any recognized University.
• Training/ Qualification in Yoga Education
• Degree/ Diploma in Teacher Education

For Lecturer, Fine Arts & Performing Arts:

• Post Graduate Degree
• NET/ SLET from UGC/ Ph.D. from any recognized University
• Degree/ Diploma in Teacher Education

For Lecturer, Life Science:

• Post Graduate Degree in Life Science
• M.Ed.
• NET/SLET from UGC/ Ph.D. from any recognized University
• Degree/ Diploma in Teacher Education

Experience/ Preference:

• At least 3 years experience of teaching.
• Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purposes

Age Limit

• The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 1st January 2022. And the upper age limit is relaxable as per norms.

Application Fee

• For General/ EWS Candidate – Rs.250/-
• For SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC – Rs.150/-
• For BPL Candidate – Nil

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Screening Examination or Written Examination and Interview Test for all the posts.

Salary

• According to the Assam Public Service Commission notice, candidates will be getting a Scale of Pay PB-4 Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/- GP 13,300/- for Lecturer posts.
