About Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya University
Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya was established on 1st Feb 2001. It is an agricultural university in Pundibari of Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. The government of West Bengal is the Chancellor of this University where Chirantan Chattopadhyay working as the Vice-Chancellor of UBKV. It has the faculties of Agriculture, Horticulture & Agricultural Engineering. The University offers UG, PG & Doctoral Courses.
The economy of this part of West Bengal is predominantly agrarian, and agriculture is characterized by low productivity & subsistence farming with a limited number of crops due to inherent soil-climatic and agro-ecological conditions. Improved technologies befitting the agro-climatic & socio-economic characteristics of this region is an important issue. Keeping this perspective in view, the state govt. established a satellite campus of this University at Pundibari, in Cooch Behar district.

- Candidates should reach the Examination Hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- Students should carry the admit card and their valid identity card on the day of the exam.
- Take care of the question paper provided whether is correct or not, before writing your exam.
- There is a prohibition to carry any unfair means such as Mobile Phone/Pager, Scanner pen or camera, or any electronic/digital gadget, etc inside the examination hall.
