Exam Pattern For hcraj Exam
The Candidates have to two alternatives as per the recruitment of steno Hindi and English. So the detailed HCRAJ Stenographer Shorthand and Computer Test Pattern is given below.
- The Whole selection consists of three tests in Group-A, Group-B & Group-C.
- Candidates have to undergo and qualify English Shorthand Test, Hindi Shorthand Test and Computer Test.
- Competitive Exam for the post of Stenographers Grade-III/ Stenographers shall consist of the subject given in two alternative Group A and B.
- A Graduate Shall is required to pass the Subject group of the post applied and required to pass Group C Compulsorily.
English Shorthand Test
The English Shorthand Test Will Be Of 100 Marks.

Method of Conducting Speed of Efficiency Test
- The language of Speed & Efficiency Test shall be same as the language of the Shorthand Test.
- The font for Computer Test shall be “Kruti Dev 010” for Hindi and “Calibri” for English
- The minimum Speed should be 8000 key depressions per hour on the computer
- Efficiency Tests may be taken on word processing software. It shall include formatting of Test, Paragraph, Page & Table using proper methods and formatting of letters.
Important Points To Remember :
- Minimum speed should be 8000 key depressions per hour on computer.
- The Language of Speed and Efficiency Test would be same as the Language of Shorthand Test.
- The marks in the Speed Test shall be awarded as per the following formula:
- (20/8000) x Net Speed (in depressions per hour).
