  • Field Engineer (Electrical) – Full Time BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical (Power) / Electrical and Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical) from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% for General / OBC (NCL) / SC / ST/ EWS / ESM and pass marks for PwD (all identified suitable sub-categories).
  • Field Engineer (Civil) – Full Time BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% for General / OBC (NCL) / SC / EWS / ESM / PwD (all identified suitable subcategories) and pass marks for ST.
  • Field Supervisor (Electrical) – Full Time Diploma in Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical and Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical) from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 55% for General / OBC (NCL) / EWS/ ESM and pass marks for SC / ST and PwD (all identified suitable subcategories).
  • Field Supervisor (Civil) – Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% for General / OBC (NCL) / SC / EWS / ESM and pass marks for ST and PwD (all identified suitable sub-categories).

Experience

  • Field Engineer (Electrical) – Should have one (01) year post qualification experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning / electrical works in Rural Electrification (RE) / Distribution Management System (DMS) / Sub Transmission (ST) / Transmission Lines (TLs) / Sub-Stations (S/s), etc. Experience in PSU / Listed company particularly in Power Sector shall be preferred
  • Field Engineer (Civil) – Should have one (01) year post qualification experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning / civil works in Rural Electrification (RE) / Distribution Management System (DMS) / Sub Transmission (ST) / Transmission Lines (TLs) / Sub-Stations (S/s), etc.
    Experience in PSU / Listed company particularly in Power Sector shall be preferred.
  • Field Supervisor (Electrical) – Should have one (01) year post qualification experience of construction/testing & commissioning / electrical works, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS) / Sub Transmission (ST) / Transmission Lines (TLs) / Sub-Stations (S/s), etc.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay the Application Fee

  • Field Engineer Rs.400/-
  • Field Supervisor Rs.300/-
  • SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates are exempted to pay the Application Fee.

Age Limit

Basis of Field Engineer, Field Supervisor job notification 2021 candidate age should be a minimum of 18 Years and a maximum of 29 Years. As on 09.05.2021

Pay Scale :

  • Field Engineer –Field Engineers, engaged on a contract basis shall be paid remuneration in the pay band of Rs.30,000-3%-1,20,000/- with initial Basic Pay of Rs.30,000/- + IDA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay
  • Field Engineer (Civil) – Field Engineers, engaged on a contract basis shall be paid remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 30000-3%-120000/- with initial Basic Pay of Rs. 30000/- + IDA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay
  • Field Supervisor (Electrical) – Field Supervisors, engaged on a contract basis shall be paid remuneration in the pay band of Rs.23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with initial Basic Pay of Rs.23,000/- + IDA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay
  • Field Supervisor (Civil) – Field Supervisors, engaged on a contract basis shall be paid remuneration in the pay band of Rs.23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with initial Basic Pay of Rs.23,000/- + IDA + HRA + Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay

  • OBC Candidates: 3 Years
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
  • PWD Candidates: 10 Years

Application Fee 

  • Field Engineer (Electrical/Civil) – Rs 400/-

  • SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

Mode Of Payment

Selection Process

For Field Engineer (Electrical/Civil)
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualification and post-qualification experience.
  • Screening test, if conducted, shall be for elimination purpose only and will not have any weightage in final
    merit.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview.
  • The merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Interview.
For Field Supervisor (Electrical/Civil)
  • Selections shall be made on the basis of scrutiny of applications w.r.t. eligibility criteria and desired experience profile and the written test of the candidates found eligible after scrutiny.
  • Candidates qualifying in the written test shall be enrolled in the order of merit of marks obtained in the written test.
  • Centre for Written Test/Computer Based Test shall be Delhi-NCR.
  • The final merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Interview/Witten Test.

Pay Scale :

Field Engineer – Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30000-3%-120000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 30000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @35 % of basic pay. On successful completion of every year of engagement, the contract personnel will be eligible for annual increment at the rate of 3% during subsequent year of engagement. The increment will be given from the first day of month subsequent to the month in which you complete the year.

Field Supervisor – Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 23,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @35% of basic pay.
