- Preference shall be given to candidates possessing a degree in Environmental Studies or Environmental Sciences as one of the subjects
- Having two years of experience in the field of environment in a Government Office or public sector undertaking or autonomous body or statutory body

- Computer training course of six months duration from a recognized institute

Hindi Translator | - Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level from a recognized university
- Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in central Govern meant including Government of India undertakings
