What is the Lucknow University Eligibility Criteria 2022?

For B.A. (Hons.)
  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized university.
  • The minimum marks compulsory for General and OBC candidates is 60% (55% marks for ST/SC).
For B.Sc. (Mathematics Group)
  • Students must have completed their intermediate level (with Mathematics group) or equivalent examination from a recognized University.
  • For General and Other Backward Classes students, the marks to be secured in the Class 12th level are at least 40% marks (33% marks for ST/SC).
For B.Sc. (Biology Group)
  • Students must have passed his/her Intermediate level (with Biology group) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
  • For General and Other Backward Classes, must secure at least 40% marks (For ST/SC – 33%).
For P.G. Admission
  • Applicants will be eligible for admission into P.G. Courses if he/she has passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./Equivalent from any recognized University.
  • Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for ST/SC) at the graduate level.
For LL.M. Programme
  • They must have completed an LLB degree.
  • The minimum qualifying marks should be 50% (48% for SC/ST) in LL.B.
For MBA
  • Students must be graduates in any stream from any recognized university.
  • Aspirants can also apply through national level test scores of CAT.

Lucknow University Exam Pattern 2022

For UG Courses : 
  • Total number of questions: The UG entrance test will comprise of 100 questions.
  • Type of Questions: Questions asked in the entrance test will be of objective type.
  • A total of 90 minutes will give to solve the question paper.
  • Marking Scheme: +4 marks will give for each correct answer. For every wrong response, one mark will deduct
For PG Courses : 
  • A total number of questions: The PG entrance exam questions will be divided into three segments and will vary for various courses.
  • Number of Sections: There will be a total of three sections in the paper except for LLB (3 years) & MCA.
  • Two hours will give for completing the test.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, five marks will give in section A, 15 marks in section B, and 20 marks in section C.
