Prosecuting Officer Exam Pattern 

  • JKPSC Prosecuting Officer Exam 2021 consists of Preliminary, Mains Examination.
  • The preliminary examination comprises two papers of objective-type questions.
  • The question paper will be set in English. The minimum qualifying mark for the exam is 33%.
  • There will be negative marks of one-fourth (0.25) marks for every wrong answer.
  • The mains examination will consist of seven papers and an English Paper of Conventional type. And the English Paper will be of qualifying type.

JKPSC Prosecuting Officer Preliminary Examination

  • Prelims exam consists of 2 papers – Paper I & II
  • Questions are of objective type (MCQs)
  • There are 100 questions for each paper
  • Each question carries 2 marks
  • The maximum marks for written exam are 400
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours (for each paper)
  • There is a negative marking scheme
  • For each wrong answer, 0.25 mark is deducted
  • The minimum qualifying mark is 33%
