Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Stenographer Grade-II:
- Candidates should be a graduate from a recognized University.
- Should have Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ Any institute.
- Must have knowledge of the Assamese language.
- Should have Employment Exchange Registration number for the state Assam.
For Stenographer Grade-III:
- The Candidate must be a High School Pass from a recognized Board/ Council/ University.
- Should have Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ Any institute.
- Must have knowledge of the Assamese language.
- Should have Employment Exchange Registration number for the state Assam.

- For Stenographer Grade-II: Scale of pay Rs.22,000/- to Rs. 97,000/- + GP Rs.9,700/- + Other Allowances.
- For Stenographer Grade-III: Scale of pay Rs.14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- + GP Rs.7,400/- + Other Allowances.
