Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Eastern Railway Recruitment vacancy, the candidates should have some required qualifications and age limits. Actually, Eastern Railway used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below.

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or Institution and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT / SCVT.

Age Limit

• Age Limit – Below 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years.

• SC/ ST/ PWBD/ Women candidates – No Fee.

Selection Process

Eastern Railway used to follow the following selection process to recruit a candidate to their company. Candidates are requested to adhere to the same detail given below.

• The selection process for the post is based on the Merit List.
• The select list for Document Verification (DV) will be on the basis of the average of marks in the Matriculation and ITI.

Stipend

• Candidates finally engaged will be provided Stipends at the prescribed rate as per extant provisions in Eastern Railway.
