Educational Qualification

Junior Instructor (Engine room), Group ‘C’Essential:

  • Certificate of Competency as Inland Engineer or E.R.A. (from the Indian Navy) not below the rank of petty officer.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  • Experience as an Instructor in similar establishments.
  • Knowledge of Marathi
Lighthouse Keeper, Group ‘C’Essential:

  •  I.T.I. Certificate in Electrician Course.
  • 2 years experience in the line.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Marathi
Store- Keeper-cum- Tool Room Operator, Group ‘C’Essential:

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  • Certificate in Diesel Mechanic from recognized Industrial Training Institution with two years experience in handling of tools and maintenance stores.
  • Knowledge of Marathi.
Lower Division Clerk, Group ‘CEssential:

  • Possessing Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
  • Knowledge of Computer applications/ operations with typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Marathi
Electrician, Group ‘C’Essential:

  • I.T.I Wireman’s Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Institution having, at least 2 years practical experience in wiring of electrical Machines OR
  • License holder in the wiring of electrical machines with 3 years experience as an Electrician.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Marathi.
Multitasking Staff, Group ‘C’Essential:

  • Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/ Institution. OR Passed Course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade, from a recognized institution.
  • Course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade, may be considered in case posts relates to technical work.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Marathi.
  • Multi-tasking skills such as knowledge of operating office machines including computers

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 45 years (relaxable for Govt. servant and reserved categories in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government)
