Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
- A Candidate must have a Degree in Bachelor of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc & A.H) from any recognized university.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Age Limit
- The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 1st January 2022.
- The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/ State Board/ Council.
Application Fee
- Candidates from the General/ EWS categories have to pay the application of Rs. 285.40/-
- While those from SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC categories must pay a fee of Rs. 185.40/-
- The candidates from BPL and PWBD have to pay the application cost of Rs. 35.40/-
Selection Process
- Candidates must, if required, attend a personal interview/ Viva – Voce at a specific place, as may be fixed by the Commission.
Salary Details
- For Veterinary Officer/ Block Veterinary Officer Pay Scale Rs.30000/- to Rs.100000/- + Grade Pay Rs.12700/- PB-4.
